DUCTING COMPONENTS AND SYSTEMS
Typical applications include turbine engine bleed air and cooling ductings, engine exhaust, and other extreme temperature/pressure rely on our great systems. Air-worthiness is critical as the failure could lead to dangerous condition. Design also requires compatibility of very light weight and robust construction cause of aerospace application. EEA could offers complete duct system design, test and manufacture. Our technology base is supported by previous EG&G Pressure Science Inc. ( Presently Perkin Elmer Inc.). |

TUBE SEAL JOINTS
EEA's flexible ducting joints are based on a unique high temperature metallic seal which we call the "Tubeseal". The Tubeseal is a precision formed metallic seal with a spherical end which is in elastic compression in a cylindrical bore. It is capable of sliding, rotating, and angulating in that bore with leakage rates about two orders of magnitude lower than can be achieved with the very best of piston rings. Tubeseal could provide virtually unlimited axial sliding capability, without high loads or fatigue problems. Rotational freedom, if desired. We could design extremely compact pressure compensated flex-slide joints, if requested. |

BELLOWS DUCTING JOINTS
Metal bellows ductings could provide angular movement to accommodate installation, thermal and dynamic duct deflections. Zero leakage improves efficiency and reduces operating costs. Controlled bending moment for predictable system life and reduced loads on fixed points ( such as engine ports) Bellows ductings could provide optimized bellows design for longer life and shorter, lighter bellows. Flow liners provide lower pressure drop and eliminate flow resonance. |

V-FLANGE JOINTS
V-Flange joints could provide reliable connection point for ease of installation/removal of ducts and attached equipment ( eg, valves). A single faster coupling for quick assembly and removal is available. Snap fit enables, replaceable metal seal for low leakage and ease of installation. Many type of materials are also available in machinable alloys such as stainless, nickel, titanium, and aluminum. Three off the shelf ratings are provided: Micro, Low and Standard to meet a wide range of conditions ( including AS1895) |
